The JBL On Stage IV comes equipped with four Odyssey transducers which have the ability to function easily in various environments like dorm rooms, backyard patios and the beach. The device packs in an AC adapter while the six AA batteries enable the device to work easily for around 16 hours.
The JBL On Stage Micro III houses two Odyssey transducers and four AAA batteries which put forth up to 24 hours of continues play. Besides the AC adapter, the new entrants offer an IR remote which works without any interruption even from up to 15 feet far.
