Jabra has introduced a new portable speaker system that has been dubbed Solemate Mini and can be purchased for a wallet-friendly price of under Rs 5,000. Apart from Bluetooth-enabled gadgets, it can be paired up with a number of devices that feature NFC.
It is based on the Bluetooth version 3.0 and packs in advanced technologies to ensure better audio reproduction at all times. There’s Digital Signal Processing or DSP that plays an important role in the task of suppressing echoes as well as digital optimization of music and voice. It is fitted with front-facing speakers.
The device comes packed into a form factor that weighs approximately 295 grams. Moreover, it is drenched in shades of black, yellow, blue and red. And in addition to the speaker, the Solemate Mini is also equipped with microphones which are omni directional and employ noise filters to cut down the background noise when users have to answer calls.
Considering that the device is portable, it is necessary to make it durable enough to endure everyday wear and tear. Thus, you will find that Jabra has coated the speaker with rubber for protection and for scratch-resistance. Also, this layer helps resisting spills, splashes, dust or even sweat.
As we already said, it can be paired with any device that has Bluetooth or NFC and you can choose to stream music through it either wirelessly or by tethering it to gadgets. There’s a USB port on it, which even acts as a charging port. It can cough up music streaming time or talk time of close to 8 hours at a stretch.
