iPhone 7 India sales kick off

Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have begun selling through online and offline retail channels in India. The two were available for pre-ordering via ecommerce websites and physical stores a few weeks after their launch in the US. Shipping of said orders have also kicked off.

The iPhone 7 is available in India for a price of Rs 60000 for the 32GB variant, Rs 70000 for 128GB, and Rs 80000 for the 256GB one. Correspondingly, the three iPhone 7 Plus models Rs 72000, Rs 82000, and Rs 92000, in that order.

Apple’s authorized dealers have already geared up for sale of the iPhone 7 series in India. Ecommerce websites like Amazon India and Flipkart too announced a few days ago they were taking pre-orders for the lineup. The latter is offering up to Rs 24500 on exchange deals to buyers of the iPhone 7.

Snapdeal has partnered with American Express and will give Rs 10000 cashback on purchase of the iPhone 7 devices. Not just this, it is also awarding a 10 percent discount on Axis Bank debit and credit cards. Exchange offers valued at close to Rs 16000 are also available through the site.

Tata Cliq is bundling a cashback offer on HDFC cards on the iPhone 7 series. Rs 10000 will be reimburse to credit and debit card users till October 14, provided stocks last till the aforesaid date. Paytm is also handing out refunds in the Rs 5000 to Rs 7000 range, depending upon the smartphone model chosen.

Apart from the previously mentioned sites, buyers can also purchase the iPhone 7 on eBay India. The website is extending cashback on cards from banks like ICICI and Kotak. Citibank credit card users can also buy this series with 10 percent reimbursement for a limited time through IndiaStore.
