Apple has dished out invites for an event to be held on September 12 that’s set to see the official debut of the iPhone 15 series. The event is called Wonderlust and is set to commence at Apple Park in Cupertino at 10 AM PT on the said date.

Those at home will be able to watch the live stream on Apple’s official website as well as the Apple TV app. As usual, there’s no official word on what we can expect from this launch event but there’s ample evidence to make plenty of assumptions.

Apple’s September events are always held to introduce new iPhones so it’s safe to assume that the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be unveiled on September 12.

It’s being said that all these models will be adopting the Dynamic Island that was first seen on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. The two premium models from this year are also expected to ship with titanium frames, thinner bezels, and consequently, inflated price tags.

It’s an open secret that the iPhone 15 devices will be the first smartphones from Apple to feature USB Type-C ports. And a recent report even suggested that this could lead to a substantial increase in their charging speeds.

There’s even evidence of the iPhone 15 models having swapped their Mute switches for a new Apple Watch-like Action button that will support plenty of new functions.

That being said, this year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max model is apparently even set for a name change that could see the word ‘Ultra’ being added to the moniker.

As we said, the iPhone 15 launch event will be streamed online on September 12, so stay tuned.
