Road Rocker

The Ion Road Rocker Bluetooth speaker system was among the many audio solutions that were flaunted last week at the CES 2012. This compact device is said to be ideal for users to carry along when camping, tailgating, partying or picnicking.

This Ion offering lets audio enthusiasts listen to all their favorite tracks by streaming music wirelessly from any Bluetooth mobile phone or tablet including the iPhone and iPad. There’s even the option of docking the given device in the Road Rocker’s built-in cradle located on top of the speaker. It boasts of a cutting edge quality full-range speaker and a bass port which gives music extra low-end thump.

“Road Rocker is our most portable speaker system yet. It has the same rugged build and many of the same features as the Ion Tailgater and Block Rocker, but it’s made for ultimate portability,” elaborated Wendy Mittelstadt, Ion Product Manager.

Users will be able to connect microphones or other instruments to this speaker system via the integrated 1/4-inch input jack. It features an in-built rechargeable battery which is capable of delivering continuous music for up to 8 hours. Furthermore, non-Bluetooth compatible devices can also be connected with this music system through the embedded 1/8-inch input and cable. Besides this, the company had also recently disclosed its Ion iCade Core desktop game controller and the Ion iCade Mobile handheld game controller for iPhone at the CES 2012.

Details regarding the Ion Audio Road Rocker Bluetooth speaker system release date and price have not yet been revealed.
