Gone are the days when contact details were stored in diaries, today all the data is stuffed into mobile phones. To relieve mobile phone users from the risk of losing their contact details, the IDrive Lite app comes to the rescue of iPhone and BlackBerry users by taking a backup of their contacts.
The app was updated recently and is now power-packed with more features and performance fixes. The enhanced version of IDrive Lite facilitates users to restore contacts that were saved on a different device. With this feature, users can now backup their contacts from the BlackBerry and switch to the iPhone or vice versa.
Apparently, the app supports BlackBerry Storm 9530, Bold 9000, Curve 8900 and Pearl Flip Series. To run this app on the iPhone, the device needs to have iPhone OS 2.0 or later. Users need to install the backup app and then sign up for an account.
To backup the data, BlackBerry users just have to click on the ‘Backup’ button. Further, users can edit, add or delete contact details via any browser and restore it to their iPhone or BlackBerry device. Users may also import contacts from Facebook.
