IDEA Cellular and RIM have come together to announce the launch of the BlackBerry solution for IDEA customers in India. Offering a wide range of enhanced features and functions, the solution provides an easy way for users to stay connected and share data with friends and family in the wireless mode.
The BlackBerry solution will allow users to easily access web, email, calendar and phone. Users will also be able to access thousands of mobile business, lifestyle and multimedia applications.

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server syncs with Lotus, IBM, Domino, Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise. The Server provides an enhanced security solution and IT policy for security, push-based wireless access to email and other corporate data. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server will be offered by IDEA Cellular to corporate customers and organizations that manage their own email servers. It will also offer the BlackBerry Internet Service specially designed for individuals and smaller businesses.
The BlackBerry solution will allow IDEA customers to access upto 10 supported corporate and personal business account from a single device. IDEA customers can choose from a wide range of BlackBerry smartphones and enjoy the benefits of using the BlackBerry solution.
The BlackBerry smartphones will be available at the IDEA stores, leading modern trade and multi-brand outlets across 15 circles of IDEA Cellular network across the country. The pricing details of the smartphones are not known.
