Following the eminent release and implementation of the Android 2.2 operating system, we’ve been hearing diverse rumors and speculations about the next version of Google’s Android OS. Folks over at Phandroid have now reported that this much-awaited operating system will be referred to as Ice Cream or Ice Cream Sandwich.
Romain apparently responded to a Google Code issue on the Android project hub to inform the inquirer that a bug fix will be offered in Ice Cream Sandwich. This is certainly great news for mobile enthusiasts who have been yearning for the Honeycomb operating system’s features as this new OS will supposedly blend together an extensive range of remarkable features.
Presently, Romain has confirmed that the issue has been fixed internally and this still leaves us with room to believe that the upcoming Android OS will be dubbed Ice Cream Sandwich.
