iBall has introduced an all new Android smartphone called Andi 4.7G Cobalt in India and the device claims to offer a horde of features. The mid-range smartphone tags along ‘cutting-edge tools’ to keep users entertained at all times.
Built around a 4.7-inch multi-touch display, the iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt manages to render clear visuals in a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. This screen takes advantage of the IPS technology and boasts of a pixel density of 312ppi. Snap-happy users will appreciate that the manufacturer has embedded a 5MP auto focus camera on the front panel which should facilitate capturing high resolution self portraits as well as video conferencing over the internet.
And if that’s not all, prospective customers can click even better images using the 12MP auto focus snapper that resides on the back. Features like dual LED flash, face beautification, smile detection, panorama mode, 3D photography and the ability to record movies are just some of the many features of this shooter. Furthermore, for those who do not have the patience of unlocking the iBall Andi 4.7G to launch their favorite and frequently-used applications, the handset allows opening them through the lock screen using pre-defined gestures.
The task of keeping the device charged up for a relatively long time has been assigned to a 2200mAh pack as its power saving mode can be activated to disable activities which hog a lot of battery life. And when it comes to multitasking, users are not likely to experience lags, thanks to a 1.2GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor which works in tandem with 1GB of RAM. The Jelly Bean 4.2-based gadget has 16GB of onboard storage and an expansion slot to increase it further by up to 32GB.
The iBall Andi 4.7G takes a leaf out of the Samsung Galaxy S3’s book and brings attributes like Direct Call and Smart Answer for enabling customers to make calls through messaging and contacts applications by simply holding the device to their ears. And flipping the device upside down automatically activates the mute mode. Pop-up play for viewing videos while texting or emailing can also be found in the phone in question. Some other add-ons like OTG, Connect and OTA should come in handy for connectivity and firmware updating purposes.
The noise-cancelling iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt will be available for purchase at a price of Rs 19,995. It is packaged along with a flip cover.
