Drawing back to the handset in question, it dons a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD touch panel. The company has equipped the device with 1GB of RAM that assists the 1.5GHz processor in multitasking. For hoarding purposes, users will have 4GB of integrated memory at their disposal. The back panel is fitted with an 8MP BSI camera which offers AF. Lastly, the Ice Cream Sandwich platform runs the show here.

“Our recently introduced smartphone line, the Huawei Ascend P1, has an innovative industrial design, high-end product configuration and outstanding user experience. The launch of the Ascend P1 on China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network now makes this device broadly available to China consumers and furthers our goal of establishing Huawei as one of the world’s leading mobile phone brands,” remarked Wang Weijun, Huawei Device’s president of Chinese division,

As per Huawei’s claims, the modem is small enough to be easily coupled with third-party application processors for enhanced results. Apart from TD-SCDMA EDGE, GPRS and GSM connectivity, it supports TD-HSDPA as well as TD-HSUPA which render speeds of up to 2.8Mbps and 2.2Mbps, respectively.

The Huawei Ascend P1 TD-SCDMA smartphone is already available for purchase in China. However, the price details aren’t clear.
