China-based smartphone maker, Huawei, has finally made up its mind to launch the G510 and Y300 officially in India, confirming the earlier given price details in the process. Stripping the pre-order tag off the smartphones, the manufacturer has announced their availability through various online shopping stores like Flipkart and Infibeam.
Apart from the nation in question, the first phone has travelled all the way to the UK so as to be formally introduced via Vodafone. The odd thing is that in spite of embracing similar specifications, each country-specific variant bears a different appearance. Nevertheless, a 4.5-inch screen has been affixed to the handset’s front panel along with a VGA camera, while a 5MP main snapper featuring autofocus finds itself accompanying an LED flash on the rear.
Home to Jelly Bean, the gadget happens to come with the company’s own customizable Emotion UI. A 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A5 CPU with dual cores powers the handset and is backed by 512MB of RAM. Lastly, the device has begun shipping bundled with a 1,750mAh battery.
Specifications of the second smartphone, so to speak, stand to be more or less the same as that of the aforesaid device. In terms of differences, it can be seen touting a 4-inch WVGA display externally, while its interiors pack a 1.2GHz dual core Cortex A5 CPU and a 1,730mAh battery.
The G510 has been made available at Rs. 10,990 through Flipkart and Infibeam, whereas Saholic has pegged the device at slashed down rate of Rs. 9,999. The Y300 on the contrary, can be seen flaunting almost similar retail tags of Rs. 7,980 at all the aforementioned e-stores.
