HTC has unveiled a new mobile phone known as the HTC Touch Diamond2. The new mobile phone is the successor of the successful HTC Touch Diamond. The new Touch Diamond2 is an attractive and slim phone packaged with wide variety of functions and technologies.

The HTC Touch Diamond2 phone features an enhanced TouchFLO 3D interface that has been integrated into customized version of Windows Mobile 6.1. The improved interface is much friendlier than before and provides complete flexibility in accessing the functions smoothly.

Complementing a unique touch interface, HTC has also introduced a people centric communication approach. The one touch access will help users to sort voice, text and email communication of a specific contact. Users can also view complete communication history from a contact card during a call. The Touch Diamond2 phone also integrates the HTC Push Internet technology that will allow users to access web pages much faster than before.

The mobile phone sports a 3.2 inch wide TFT LCD touchscreen with a zoom bar that allows users to quickly zoom web pages, text messages, photos, emails or documents with one touch access. The HTC Touch Diamond2 phone incorporates a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus as well as a secondary camera for video calling. Other features included in the phone are a FM radio, music player, support for various audio and video formats, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity.

With improved battery life, the HTC Touch Diamond2 phone offers a talktime of upto 340 minutes and a standby time of upto 360 hours. It also provides support for microSD memory card.

The HTC Touch Diamond2 will be available in Europe and Asia in Q2 2009. The pricing details of the phone are still under wraps.
