The HTC Titan and HTC Radar, two phones running the latest version of Windows Phone Mango are slated to hit shelves later this year, says a post at the official Windows Phone Blog. The company has announced these phones in a cascade of style events taking place in London.

The HTC Titan flaunts a 4.7-inch display with a slim 9.9mm brushed aluminum shell. It sports a front facing camera that claims to bring all movies, music and apps closer to reality. Promptly acting on user feedback, the company has also worked on providing legible and clearer fonts.

As for the HTC Radar, it’s been design sculpted with an aluminum unibody shell. Inclusive of a front facing camera as well, there’s room for convenient video chats too. The makers are pushing it as a distinct piece of tailoring, integrating software and hardware.

Following much speculation whether Mango will support these attributes, the company has officially confirmed that the operating system will be enabled with front facing cameras as well. Additionally, the device is touted to support ‘switching to FFC’ for photo or video shooting into the basic camera experience. What’s more, the phones arrive with API support too that will help ISVs develop all kinds of interesting apps by accessing the FFC.

With specific apps that can conveniently exploit this facility under wraps for now, the HTC Titan and HTC Radar will be reaching global audiences in the month of October beginning with Europe and Asia. The exact pricing and availability details are yet to be divulged into though by the company.
