HTC and Tata Docomo join forces to launch One Dual SIM+ in India for Rs 53,590

The HTC One Dual SIM+ smartphone has been introduced officially in India and the Taiwan-based company has entered into a partnership with Tata Docomo to launch the CDMA version of the handset. Over a period of the next few months, both firms plan to bring a horde of devices to the Indian markets.

According to HTC, the One Dual SIM+ is the first Android device in the nation to support CDMA and UMTS dual SIM capability. It is exactly similar to the original device, except that a microSD expansion slot has been carved out in the new variant’s chassis for enabling prospective customers to increase the storage capacity by up to 64GB. This smartphone comes drenched in shades of glacial silver and stealth black.

HTC One Dual SIM Plus

A 4.7-inch full HD capacitive IPS touchscreen rests on the front panel with a 2.1MP camera and displays an intuitive interface that can be attributed to the Jelly Bean platform and Sense 5. The proprietary UI drags along BlinkFeed and potential buyers will also find BoomSound and Beats Audio in the HTC phone for a better acoustic experience.

And what’s more, a 4MP UltraPixel camera lays claim over the back surface and boasts of all the common attributes like digital zoom, auto focus, LED flash, video recording and more. The handset employs a 1.7GHz quad core processor as well as 2GB of RAM and has 32GB onboard memory. It draws power from a 2,300mAh battery.

The HTC One Dual SIM+ has been priced at Rs 53,590 and Flipkart is selling the dual SIM variant for Rs 46,257.
