HTC Snap to arrive at Sprint on June 21st

HTC Snap smartphone Sprint recently confirmed that its version of the HTC Snap will be launched this month. This phone is quite similar to the original phone unveiled in April with slight changes. When making calls, this new version switches to CDMA and along with this feature the phone packs in EVDO-based 3G support that arrives with some changes to the visual design without causing any changes to the QWERTY keyboard.

The HTC’s trademark Inner Circle feature that displays messages only from the owner’s most important contacts exists in the Sprint version. However, the GPS is extended to work with Sprint’s navigation system. Other specifications that remain the same in the new version are the 2-megapixel camera and Wi-Fi.

The phone is already present in the Best Buy stock with a full, unsubsidized price tag of $520. According to Sprint, the Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone will arrive at the carrier’s own stores on June 21st for $149 on a two-year contract.
