Egged on positively by earlier upgrades, HTC has just released the latest version of 3.05.401.3 of its ROM for the HTC Magic. The new upgrade will let users experience HTC Sense on their handset.
Users can now happily customize their experience to be any way they like. The all-new software solution has finally geared up to deliver Magic users a feature that was promised long ago, namely the HTC Sense.
Just to notify, the upgrade will be successful in two different steps, and users are advised to read carefully the installation instructions. First step will upgrade three programs (At the end of this step the screen will show ‘Boot-Fail’ about 5 seconds, and this is the normal scenario, please let the Magic keep running to second step, HTC advises). On the other hand, the second step will upgrade five programs.
Further, the latest offering emerges as a generic software update, meaning that any additional software or settings provided by the user’ mobile operator or company will be lost. The entire updating process will take up to 10 minutes.
An updated ROM is now available to HTC Magic users to download.
