After dropping in at Virgin Mobile, the HTC One V has warmed up to U.S. Cellular customers too. The smartphone is part of the One series that was unveiled back at the MWC 2012 and it has landed in several countries including India, since then.

Riding on Ice Cream Sandwich topped off with the HTC Sense 4 UI, the handset uses a 1GHz processor and sports an 800 x 480p, 3.7-inch touchscreen. In terms of the exterior, the chassis borrows from the Hero and Legend designs with its protruding chin that’s touted to offer a nice grip.

The phone packs itself into dimensions measuring 120.3mm x 59.7mm x 9.2mm and weighs roughly 115gm with the 1,500mAh battery hiding under the hood. Powered by 512MB RAM, it has 4GB total storage and support for a microSD memory card.

“This phone is great for people who want to simplify and organize their life using one device,” remarked Edward Perez, vice president of sales and marketing operations for U.S. Cellular. “The high-end camera and premium audio features make it easy to leave your other gadgets at home while on-the-go.”

The 5MP camera clinging to the rear panel is backed by 720p recording capability, a BSI sensor, smart LED flash and auto focus. As is the norm with HTC devices that have been launched lately, Beats Audio technology plops itself down among the audio features. Other specs include a 3.5mm stereo audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and more.

The U.S. Cellular HTC One V can be picked up for $129.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. The deal also entails a fresh two-year agreement as well as activation charges in the case of new customers.
