HTC One mini receives official recognition

We guess it is finally alright to say that the HTC One mini is legit and it should be heading towards the market sometime soon, thanks to the dedicated UAProf (User Agent Profile) which has surfaced on the official website. HTC has not only taken its first step in the path of accepting the phone’s existence, but also confirmed certain estimations in the process.

For starters, we now know that the HTC One mini has been crafted with a 4.3-inch touch display, across which users should be able to view pictures and videos at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The website has also authenticated the presence of Android Jelly Bean’s version 4.2.

Since these were previously made assumptions which have crossed over from rumor to reality, the rest of the speculated components are likely to jump on to the bandwagon as well. This means people could hope for the device to tag along 16GB onboard memory which might not offer further expansions like its 4.7-inch counterpart. Apart from this, it has been said that 2GB of RAM may also find itself locked up under the hood for the purpose of aiding a dual core processor.

The folks over at Unwired View have learnt that the manufacturer has decided to incorporate a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset in it. And the post moreover took the liberty to say that the HTC One mini which will apparently tout an aluminum chassis, should choose Sense 5 as its user interface

Naturally, the HTC One mini will be going up against the smaller version of the Galaxy S4, but it holds an upper hand when it comes to a bunch of aspects. Taking the screen resolution for instance, the former’s HD panel walks a step ahead of the latter’s qHD display. Also, if predictions of a 4MP UltraPixel camera being strapped onto the HTC One mini turns out to be true, it should give the phone an advantage over Samsung’s miniature gadget.

When the One mini was captured in pictures a while ago, it was accompanied by a supposed price and a launch window. According to the grapevine, it will sum up to more or less €400 and will be trudging into open grounds before the end of August.
