The Huawei Ascend Mate has been launched in India as was expected when the smartphone showed up via online retailers last week. But the good news in the scenario is that the Huawei handset has arrived with a retail tag which is considerably less than what the online retailers had pegged it at earlier. The phablet has already been listed on various e-commerce websites in the subcontinent and comes drenched in shades of black and white.
One of the smartphone’s key highlights stands to be its IPS LCD Magic Touch display which stretches up to 6.1 inches and is known to function even when used with gloves on. The manufacturer has also stressed on its battery efficiency technologies such as Quick Power Control and Automated Discontinuous Reception, with which the integrated 4,050mAh power pack should be able to proffer longer operation time.
Hidden under the Huawei Ascend Mate is a proprietary chipset dubbed Hi-Silicon K3V2 that accommodates four cores and processes at a clock speed of up to 1.5GHz. Besides 8GB of internal storage capacity which can be increased by up to 64GB using a microSD card, the Jelly Bean-powered phone comes bundled with 2GB of system memory. People can also watch out for an onboard 8MP camera featuring auto focus and a BSI sensor amongst a number of other attributes.
For those who have been lured by the Ascend Mate and its large screen, the manufacturer has disclosed that retailers like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Infibeam, Croma, Ezone and some other authorized dealers will be stashing it at a price of Rs 24,900.
