The HTC Evo Design 4G seems to be readying itself to be unveiled via Boost Mobile soon. If the rumors floating around the mobile terrain are to be believed, customers of the carrier can expect to scoop out yet another Android delight from the company. This particular device, which entered the market through Sprint way back in October last year, is gearing up to release shortly via Boost Mobile.

The Evo Design 4G was earlier christened Kingdom and comes packed to the hilt with loads of interesting features. Well, for one, potential users should be able to spy quite a few familiar attributes that were present in the Sprint iteration. These include a 4-inch super LCD with qHD resolutions of 960 x 540p as well as 768MB of RAM and a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor. Adding to the aforementioned assets, the phone also sports a 5MP color CMOS with auto focus and a 1.3MP front camera.

Armed with a 4.8- x 2.4- x 0.47-inch chassis, the Design 4G tips the scales at just 5.22 ounces. Social butterflies can view all their friends’ updates on Facebook, Flickr and Twitter thanks to the inclusion of FriendStream. According to Pocketnow, the WiMax-capable handset will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as opposed to the 2.3 Gingerbread OS that’s seen on the Sprint version of the gadget.

The HTC Evo Design 4G will apparently launch on Boost Mobile before the end of this quarter. However, no official announcement has been made by the company on the same. Even details pertaining to the exact release date and price are still pending.
