The HTC Desire SV phone’s price in India was already announced, and now some online retailers in the country have unofficially declared its availability. It takes advantage of the Android 4.1 platform and gains steam from a dual core Cortex A5 processor.
Capable of supporting two SIM cards (GSM + GSM) at the same time, this phone offers a multi-touch real estate of 4.3 inches. This Super LCD 2 WVGA touchscreen can reproduce clear and vivid pictures in 800 x 480p resolution. It does not come with a front webcam, but is equipped with a powerful 8MP snapper which boasts of employing some of the proprietary features such as HTC ImageChip and HTC VideoPic.
Some of the other attributes of the primary camera include a BSI sensor, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, auto focus and more. Photographers can even capture still shots while recording HD videos at the rate of 30 frames per second using the Desire SV. It ships with 4GB of integrated memory and allows users to increase it further using a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity, thanks to its expansion slot.
The 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor rests under the hood and is accompanied by 768MB of RAM. This chip is embedded into the HTC device that measures only 10.7mm in thickness and weighs approximately 131 grams. It treats itself to the Jelly Bean OS, garnished with the company’s HTC Sense UI for intuitive navigation.
Need we mention that the phone has been deployed with an A/V player that can extend support to common audio and video formats? Also, Beats Audio by Dr. Dre is responsible for delivering an enhanced acoustic experience, while applications such as Document Viewer and Office Suite should be enough to stay productive on the go. A 1620mAh battery is responsible for coughing up the juice that lasts throughout the day.
The HTC Desire SV is available via e-retailers like eBay India, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Infibeam for a price of close to Rs. 22,000.
