The 4G Samsung Galaxy S3 price and release date have been made public by Cricket, while Matt Stoiber, the company’s senior vice president of devices, proudly states that the handset excels in their 3G as well as 4G LTE markets. The Android Ice Cream Sandwich device is the second 4G LTE smartphone to be launched by the service provider, the first being the LG Optimus Regard.
To help speed up tasks like downloading, browsing and sharing of media content, the handset is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor and 2GB of RAM. It flaunts a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen that brings to life pictures clicked from an 8MP camera, featuring auto focus, LED flash, zero lag shutter and 4x digital zoom, positioned on the flip side.
Users can add a personal touch to long distance interactions with the help of a 1.9MP HD front-facing webcam that facilitates video conferencing. Those who find the 16GB internal memory storage capacity of the phone inadequate can further insert a microSD card of up to 32GB and store content tirelessly.
In addition, the 4G Galaxy S3 also allows wireless sharing of data through Bluetooth, detecting users’ actual location via GPS and creating a personal Wi-Fi network with the help of its portable hotspot capability.
