Recently, we reported that the HTC Desire handset was coming through U.S. Cellular with some enticing features for users’ on-the-go. Now, there are rumors surrounding the market that the HTC Desire HD handset is expected to launch sometime around September 15. FoneArena reports that the company has send invitations for an event on that day but did not reveal what it is all about.
The site also stated that the invites had a picture of smoke behind which the handset is hidden and appears after editing. It is cited that the device in the image could be the HTC Ace or it will be known as Desire HD. All this and probably more is slated to happen at the company’s event in London.
If rumors are to be believed then the HTC Desire HD will sport a 4.3-inch display, 1GHz processor and 720p video recording. Not much is known about the phone though.
With Nokia all geared up to host the Nokia World Event in London sometime around 14-15 September and Samsung also preparing for an event, it will be fun to see which company takes away the limelight.
