Merely a couple of days after Dell, HP has launched new laptops that go by the names of EliteBook Revolve 810 and ProBook 430 in India. Both the gadgets make the most of the Windows 8 OS. The latter is a conventional laptop, whereas the former is a convertible that can be transformed into a tablet.

Meant for professionals, the EliteBook 810 from HP acquires steam from the third generation Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors and can support up to 12GB of RAM. An mSATA SSD of not more than 256GB storage comes integrated into the device that boasts of Intel HD Graphics 4000. The hybrid gadget sports a micro SIM card slot as well as an expansion bay for a microSD card and it is graced by a 11.6-inch 1366 x 768p LED-backlit HD touchscreen.

Moreover, the notebook features a 720p HD webcam, dual microphone array and stereo speakers in addition to 2 USB 3.0 ports, a DisplayPort, an RJ-45 Ethernet input, a headphone/microphone combo jack, a power outlet and a side docking connector. Its list of specifications includes a 13.3-inch LED-backlit HD screen, Intel HD Graphics, a spill-resistant keyboard and a lithium-ion battery amongst others.

The HP EliteBook Revolve 810 carries a price tag of Rs 90,000, while the ProBook 430 starts at Rs 39,000.
