In the History Here application, users can type in a specific location or activate their smartphone’s GPS to choose their current position. The result can be filtered with key details like distance and points of interests, further handset owners may opt for a map or list view. On tapping a certain point of interest, history lovers can immerse themselves in the deluge of information the app offers.

The History Here app can be availed by Windows Phone 7 customers for $2.99.
