Here’s an interesting application that aims at simplifying telephone calls for users with hearing disabilities. Hamilton CapTel announced the Hamilton Mobile CapTel application for iPhone users in U.S. finding it difficult to hear the communications properly. This app enables users to read captions for what all that’s being said during the call making it easier for them to understand.
Through this app, users can hear and simultaneously read the conversations on their handsets. To read the captions, they can choose from the available two languages mainly English and Spanish. Phone numbers of the contacts are seamlessly integrated allowing users to make calls without any hassles. The tool is said to work efficiently with a wired or Bluetooth headset.

The app can be accessed in mobiles supporting a 3G or Wi-Fi connection along with being enabled for both voice and data. Currently available for iPhone 3G/3GS, the company is planning to provide this service on various other devices soon.
