Haier introduced its latest H7 handset as a mockup at CommunicAsia 2009 held during the Singapore Expo. It’s the first Haier phone to be operating on the Android platform.
According to Engadget, the company aims to make the H7 compatible with Android OS 1.5 but it might ship the mobile phone with OS 2.0 in case the firmware is available at that time. The handset features 2.8” touch-screen display.
Further it is built with a 2-megapixel camera along with onboard flashlight. The gadget possesses FM radio and offers GPS capabilities. Additionally, it also provides Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth connectivity.
The tentative cost of the H7 is $150 and it would initially be launched in France by September, 2009.
