Be it tapping suggested queries or local businesses, searching for the phone’s email, speaking queries, or quickly navigating to some useful services, Google Maps application has provided users with all. With more to offer in mind, the company recently assigned a new name ‘Google Search’ to the handy app and integrated some interesting features.

Formerly known as Google Mobile, the enhanced Google Search for iPhone now features more ways to interact with the app. When browsing through search results or glancing over a web page, users can conveniently swipe down to see the search bar or change their settings.

Users who use other apps from Google can also take advantage of an Apps button which offers quick access to the mobile versions. There’s a new toolbar as well which will seamlessly filter users’ search. Users can open the toolbar by swiping from left to right, either before they search or once they’ve got their results.

For only images, users can simply tap on ‘Images.’ Apart from this, the whole experience of picking up searching where users left off has got easier. Lastly, the app comes equipped with significant improvements, comprising Google Goggles, Voice Search, Search with My Location, Gmail unread and more.

For users’ further convenience, the app comes with a simple help feature.

Available for free, Google Search for iPhone can now be downloaded from the iTunes App Store.
