Google Mobile application now available on Windows Mobile phones

Google Mobile application and Windows Mobile logo Here’s a refreshing news for mobile phones based on Windows Mobile operating system. Google has introduced its Google Mobile application for Windows Mobile smartphone users that will allow them to conduct faster searches.

The native application will install a ‘Today’ screen that will contain links to various other frequently used Google applications. The application will also allow users to conduct faster searches than before without the need of opening a browser to begin a search.

The application also contains search history that will reduce typing and will provide quick and efficient results with fewer clicks. For rich experience, Pocket PC users can install the Google Mobile application to their start menu which will allow them to access the application within any application on their phone.

Moreover, Windows Mobile users can also access Gmail, Google Docs, Picasa Web albums and much more directly from their ‘Today’ screen. The Google Mobile application is currently available for the iPhone, iPod, and BlackBerry phones.

The application is available for free. At present, it is available in US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
