Google seems to be enhancing many of its features in the light of consumer opinion and feedback. After announcing the updated version of search application for iOS, the official Google Mobile blog reveals that the company has updated the Google Maps experience for mobile browsers on Android and iOS devices.
With this application the users can browse maps in a consistent manner from wherever they use it. Once the site is open users can get in touch with all features from their desktop, on their phones.
Some of its features include locating the current place, suggest and auto complete to locate nearby places and landmarks, and it also includes clickable icons of popular businesses and travel stations. Apart from this, it gives walking, transit and biking directions too. The Place pages can be accessed with photos ratings and much more. The starred locations and My Maps can be used by signing into Google account.
The latest features can be accessed without having the need to install any updates and can be done using any phone.
