Google LG Nexus India release date fixed for November end?

The Google LG Nexus release date for India could fall by the end of November, say the latest reports that have flooded the web. But that’s not all; the handset will be based on Google’s next Android 4.2 operating system also popularly known as Key Lime Pie, continuing the trend seen with all previous Android versions that have been named after delicacies.

From what IBNLive believes, the smartphone will be equipped with 2GB of RAM and 8GB or 16GB of internal memory. However, users will not have a built-in microSD card slot to expand the overall hoarding capacity. An IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels is likely to dominate the front panel, and in an interview with the Indian news website, Amit Gujral, head of Mobile Product Planning, LG, confirmed that it could be a 4.7-inch one.

For those fond of photography, the phone could tag along an 8MP rear-facing camera much like the one seen on the company’s flagship device. It will have a quad core processor operating at 1.5GHz, taking care of smooth operations and assisting the Key Lime Pie platform. Plus, a non-removable battery is likely to make it to the specifications sheet for juicing up all the above mentioned components. This smartphone, also known as the LG Nexus 4 could be revealed at a showcase slated for October 29, says the report.

If this rumor turns out to be true, the Indian launch date for the LG Nexus will fall by the end of November, right in time for the holiday season.
