Here’s some disappointing news for Motorola Droid owners. Mobile Burn shares that Google Earth was not available after upgrading to Android 2.1 for many Motorola Droid users.
A few of the site’s readers have seemingly mailed them mentioning that Google Earth does not run any more after they updated their Motorola Droid to Android 2.1. It is more so because the software was not accessible to them in the Android Market.
Well, with this trouble, it only seems wise for users to wait for some more time before making the big leap of the Android upgrade. An official word from Google or Verizon Wireless to inform users of why it is no longer available is yet to arrive.
Till this issue is dealt with, we guess Motorola Droid users have to just learn to use the phone without their favorite Google Earth.
