Woe betide those ruthless exploiters who care naught for the troubles they inflict upon nature. GlitchSoft has now unleashed a new title dubbed Destructopus featuring cutesy savior monsters for the Apple iOS.
Mother Earth has been taken over by mega-corporation polluters and greedy industrialists pushing deforestation and pollution, resulting in extreme climate changes. Players will have to assume the role of Destructopus, a peace loving ocean monster that is rudely awoken by oil exploration, to destroy the callous villains.
The title packs in physics-based arcade action gameplay with a smashing soundtrack. Users can employ rewarding attack combos or multipliers to defeat over twenty-five varied enemy types across four terrains including city, forest, desert and industrial. It features an old-school side-scroller that complements iOS devices.
Destructopus is compatible with iPhones based on iOS 3.0 or higher versions. It is currently up for grabs via the iTunes App Store at $1.99.
