The Gionee E-Life E6 which claims to be the world’s first white OGS smartphone has been introduced and it is all set to go up for sale this month itself in China. Gionee has also revealed that potential buyers in countries like India, Vietnam and Nigeria will have to wait until August to lay their hands on this sleek and stylish piece of hardware.
Building on the success of its predecessors like the E5 and E3 amongst others, the smartphone encased in a unibody exterior splashed in either black or white, measures 6.18mm in thickness. It manages to hold a 5-inch full HD Retina display along with a 5MP camera on the front panel and a 13MP primary snapper on the rear side. Apart from the ability to stand upright for letting users capture hands-free group pictures, the smartphone tags along some other attributes such as smile and V gesture detection, best shot, HDR, panorama and many more.
The responsibility of carrying out multiple operations at the same time has been assigned to a quad core processor ticking at 1.5GHz which works in conjunction with 2GB of RAM. The Gionee E-Life E6 brings 32GB of onboard memory and serves a generous helping of Jelly Bean’s version 4.2. Additionally, this device is loaded with the other essential features such as Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and more.
Furthermore, the handset takes the help of a 2020mAh battery to stay charged up for at least an entire day and uses heartbeat synchronizing technology to save up on power. It even comes with motion sensors and allows customers to operate it using gestures. And if that’s not enough, the phone also reproduces stereo surround sound to keep owners entertained while on the move.
The E-Life E6 smartphone’s price for India has not been revealed, but it will start selling in China priced at CNY 2,699, that’s approximately Rs 26,215.
