Gigabyte Tegra Note 7 tablet launched for $199

Another device that makes the most of Nvidia’s latest tablet platform is the Gigabyte Tegra Note 7 that has been launched for a recommended price of $199. Companies like EVGA, Zotac and Xolo have already launched 7-inch tablets optimized for gaming based on the Tegra Note module.

This Android device sticks to the requirements laid out by Nvidia and hence, is pretty similar to the Xolo Play tablet launched earlier this week. It is accompanied by a pen and is deployed with DirectStylus technology that can reproduce fine lines and broader strokes on the touchscreen. You can edit PDFs on the slate, use the lasso function instead of typing and of course, take notes and draw images using the digitizer.

As the name clearly suggests, it is graced by a 7-inch touchscreen and you will also find stereo speakers on the front panel. These audio equipments feature bass reflex port and claim to deliver good quality sound. The rear side hosts a 5MP camera with attributes such as HDR, automatic tracking, focus, exposure control and more.

The quad core Nvidia Tegra 4 mobile processor fuels the device from within and even has a fifth battery-saving core for obvious reasons. This chipset has a 72-core Nvidia GeForce GPU for company so you can expect enhanced graphics from the slate. And in case it is not enough, you can get HD Tegra games to play on your gaming optimized tablet via the Nvidia TegraZone.

The Gigabyte Tegra Note 7 tablet’s estimated price is $199 and the Slide Cover for it will be sold separately.
