Gem Hsin has released its new Tourmaline 5000mAh USB battery pack range for mobile charging. These thin batteries can directly be connected to mobile phones as well as other portable devices. The company claims that their latest product can keep these gadgets charged for hours or even days altogether even if their batteries get exhausted.
This light battery comes embedded with two 5V USB output sockets which are capable of powering iPhones, iPads, HTC Android phones, Samsung Galaxy and most Nokia phones. It can recharge two devices simultaneously through its twin USB power outputs.
This Lithium Polymer Battery embedded device measures 62mm × 84mm × 25mm and weighs 153gm. It can be charged with ease via two power input sockets, a DC input jack and a standard mini USB connection to connect it with PCs and USB chargers.
Owing to its 5000mAh capability, the device can supposedly deliver four times the power capacity of a standard battery in an iPhone. The battery is capable of providing optimum performance even at high temperatures and also claims to secure users’ electronic devices against damage.
