Geico GloveBox app unleashed by Geico in iPhone

Geico GloveBox App One more iPhone app joins the list available in the Apple App Store. This new app which is rolled out by Geico is termed as ‘Geico GloveBox’.

The app enables both users as well as non-users to boast of useful features. The applications facilitate users to shell out their bill and have the facility to look at their insurance card. Several attributes of Geico GloveBox can be used even by non-Geico users.

Jess Reed, Geico’s chief information officer, commented, “We want to assist our customers through the channel of their choosing. With the increasing popularity of the iPhone, an iPhone app made perfect sense. We looked for capabilities that we think will add the biggest value to our customers. Whether it’s on the Web, over the phone or with the new application via their iPhone, we want to provide the most convenient and best customer experience possible.”

John Hodges, a senior applications systems analyst at GEICO, stated, “An accident, a breakdown or a flat tire is stressful and people may not always have the information they need on hand. GEICO GloveBox can really simplify the process and make a bad situation a little easier for all users.”

Assistance is offered for users caught up in an auto accident as the instructional text guides users to change a flat tyre. Videos are also presented which provide comic relief with simply a flick of the finger. The other features comprise of roadside services, taxi/rental car finder and Geico contact information.

The Geico GloveBox app can be downloaded for no charge and is right now accessible at the iTunes App Store.
