GeeksPhone to launch Android based One handset in Spain

The One Android Smartphone According to TechFresh, Spain is going to receive its very first Android phone to be launched by GeeksPhone. This smartphone is called the One and looks exactly like the Samsung Omnia.

The company held an event in Barcelona, Spain for the unveiling of this phone. They announced the specifications of the device as well.

This phone comes equipped with a 625MHz Marvell PXA310 processor and sports a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen display. It arrives with a 3.2 MP camera to click clear pictures and a front-facing camera.

This device also has a microSD card slot, mini-USB port and AGPS. It has WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth for easy transfer of files. It will be running Android 1.5 Cupcake OS which will be upgraded to 2.0 Donut when released and supports quad-band EDGE/HSDPA connectivity.

The unlocked version of the One will be available in Spain sometime this summer. The price range of this phone will be anywhere between $352 and $422.
