Fujitsu F-01A is the first waterproof mobile phone from NTT DOCOMO announces AuthenTec. The device is designed with AuthenTec’s fingerprint sensor that packs a new TouchStone packaging technology for the first time.

The F-01A is a feature packed device that offers easy handling security system to ensure privacy of all important data. The F-01A runs on Symbian operating system and uses AuthenTec’s TrueNav technology which enables user to utilize advance navigation capabilities via AuthenTec’s AES1711 fingerprint sensor. The device sports a 5.2 megapixel camera wrapped with Autofocus for capturing memories that can be displayed in its 3.5-inch widescreen VGA touchscreen display.
The F-01A integrates GPS system that enables users to view Mobile Google Maps with Street View; it supports secure e-Wallet mobile payment facility as well. The first water resistance mobile phone fits IPX5 and IPX7 specifications and can be immersed in 1 metre of water for about 30 minutes. The Fujitsu F-01A is a device that ensures complete privacy of the users with its built in security features.
