Froyo-based Dell Venue showcased running latest Stage UI

Dell Venue The Consumer Electronic Show showcases a wide plethora of gadgets encompassing several product categories like cameras, laptops, HDTVs and much more. In this entire deluge of technology, the mobile terrain has also expanded subsuming handsets from various manufacturers. We’ve already reported about a number of these, including HTC Inspire, Motoroal Atrix, Samsung Infuse and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.

The official Dell blog adds one more to this list, the Dell Venue which was announced at the CES. The sleek noir handset has been dipped into the goodness of Android 2.2. This device is fitted with a 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen made out of Gorilla Glass. The wide display ensures that mobile enthusiasts are offered a visual treat when they indulge in the multimedia facilities of this handset.

In fact, the Venue offers complete support to Flash 10.1. The curvaceous and elegant form factor allows handset owners to slip it in their pockets with utmost ease. The smartphone flaunts an 8 megapixel camera. Along with this handset, Dell had also elucidated on its latest Stage user interface.

An interesting facet of this UI is that it lets handset owners remotely control devices on the network. This functionality can be used to access a lot of content and stream it onto other Stage-enabled devices. The Dell Venue integrates Stage coupled with its widgets.
