The most recent foursquare update for Blackberry has brought in additional features that many users of the SNS may approve of. For starts, the application has apparently been made faster for enhanced and easy utility by enthusiasts on the move.
The application may be seen displaying an improved GPS logic of sorts so that users can seamlessly explore regions around them. What’s more, the big upgrade has come in the form of NFC capability being added to the application. So a simple tap is all it should take to get places as well as tips and more transferred between smartphones. Other perks spell out to be points and badges being given while on the move.
“We’ve also added NFC capabilities to the app, which means you can share places and tips among other BlackBerry and Android devices (or even check in at places with NFC stickers), with a simple tap of your phone,” shares a post on the official foursquare blog.
Apart from sharing pictures, comments on places and even reviews on restaurants, the app tags along Specials so that users can pick up neat deals on choices they wish to get their hands on. Needless to say, check-ins can be posted to Facebook and Twitter in order to share with others where users are headed towards. And chances are, they may be seen virtually bumping into friends on foursquare even before reaching their destination.
