Facebook likes Little Eye Labs, acquires the India startup for mobile development

Facebook has taken a strong liking to the India startup called Little Eye Labs, so much so that it has went to the extent of acquiring the latter. The social network basically wants to acquire the company to enhance its mobile development and has asked the employees to shift to its headquarters in California.

This is the first time that Facebook has acquired an Indian company. The year-old startup released its Android application back in April and since then, it has been used by various app developers for the purpose of measuring and analyzing their respective software’s performances to optimize them further.

Now that the social networking giant has taken Little Eye Labs under its wing, the latter will be responsible for gauging the performance of the former’s multiple mobile applications and introduce changes that will prove to be useful for Facebook. Current customers will be updated about the availability of free version of the application in the future.

According to the developers, the application in question is ridiculously easy to use and at the same time, pretty powerful. It gives you insights regarding your apps power, memory and data consumption habits without asking you to setup or code. And after analyzing, you get a detailed report and a summary that gives you the required information about your products. It is available for Windows, Mac OS X as well as Linux platforms.

This acquisition was on the cards for a while now and we had even reported about Facebook’s plans regarding the same back in December.
