Xolo sets up shop at CES 2014, launches Win tablet with 10.1-inch display

Xolo and Micromax have been competing in the budget Android smartphone as well as tablet space for years and now, both companies have also ventured into the Windows ecosystem. The latter OEM has already showcased its LapTab slate which dual boots into Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, while the former has introduced the Win, an AMD powered device which runs on Microsoft’s latest platform.

Xolo has been partnering with various chip makers over the past months. We’ve recently seen devices come with Nvidia Tegra, Qualcomm Snapdragon and Broadcomm processors. And in the past, the company has also delivered a couple of smartphones based on Intel Atom SOCs, with MediaTek being its go-to chip supplier. The Win tablet will be its first collaboration with AMD.
