Evernote for Android gets updated with new features

Evernote Android 1.4

A few days back Evernote for iPhone received an update version 3.3.4. Now, according to Evernote’s official blog, Evernote for Android has just got a new update ‘1.4’ that comes with new features. The new version comes with many new features as well as fixes an error which was experienced by users in the previous version.

Evernote brings in a multi-tasker ‘search bar’ which not only searches an input keyword but also helps filter tags, notebooks and saved searches. While typing in the search bar, it displays suggestions from every corner of users’ Evernote Account in addition with the helpful icons that show what the item exactly is.

The app uses iPhone’s camera capabilities allowing users to zoom, adjust brightness, focus and provide much better control over the quality of their photo notes. The Snapshot Notes become sharper, clearer and better for the use of business cards or more. Evernote version 1.4 now supports many more languages including English, German, Spanish, French, Finnish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Swedish.

As stated in the official blog, an upgraded Evernote for Mac and Window was unfurled a month ago. This version was designed to handle a wider range of styles in users’ notes. Well, the new version now ensures a great user experience. The blog also reveals about the offline storage which is anticipated to pave the way for Android very soon.

Users can now download Evernote version 1.4 from the Android Market.
