Just last Saturday, we had penned a post pertaining to the release of the latest Fall/Winter collection by case-mate. The company has now pulled in modern industrial designer Erik Arlen to sculpt a fresh line of mobile cases just in time for the holiday gift-giving season. Arlen has been best known for his chic shoe designs for Nike.
The designed adds a touch of industrial aesthetic to the cases with bold colors, textures and modular pieces. The entire series hosts four sheaths including The Egg, Facets, The Rubix and Stacks. Fashion conscious individuals might appreciate the ability to customize their cases according to their style.
“Fashion-forward consumers will love the look and feel of the line Erik has designed,” asserted Shashi Reddy, founder and CEO of case-mate. “Our collaboration with Erik underscores our commitment to innovative design, quality craftsmanship and personal expression, and is just the first of many such design partnerships to come.”
The Egg has been designed with extruded dots of different heights proffering the look of an egg crate. It has been styled in red, white, blue and black. Facets, flaunts the intersections of several different sized triangles and has been finished with three different coatings. This one comes in red, white or black. On the other hand, The Rubix incorporates four interlocking color blocks which users can mix match the way they like. Whereas, Stacks locks in six color bands which lets handset owners create a new look using endless color combinations.
The Erik Arlen for case-mate line can be obtained only from the official website. The Egg and Facets are retailing for $24.99, while The Rubix and Stacks can be picked up for $34.99.
