Droid X by Motorola hitting Verizon shelves tomorrow

Motorola Droid X About few days back Motorola Charm with Motoblur was caught making news about knocking shelves this summer. Now, Verizon Wireless and Motorola announced that Droid X by Motorola will be made available online and in Verizon Wireless Communication Stores tomorrow.

The stylish device wraps in many exciting features like ultra high-speed Web browsing, HD camcorder, 8 megapixel camera and 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities. Those enthusiastic about multimedia may now be seen spending long hours with this feature-packed mobile phone. Designed with a sophisticated taste, it stands apart for various enterprise features and exceptional call quality.

For users who want to store loads of photos and videos, the Droid X comes with 8GB onboard memory and a 16GB memory card. The new 32GB SanDisk microSDHC card helps users increase Droid X’s memory to 40GB, delivering them utmost storage capacity.

For watching the newest movies from Blockbuster On Demand offered by V Cast Video, a 4.3-inch high-resolution screen is packed in. Droid X users will have to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan (beginning at $39.99 monthly access) and Email and Web for Smartphone plan (beginning at $29.99 for unlimited monthly access).

The optional 3G Mobile HotSpot service can be availed for $20 per month. Users can grab the 32GB SanDisk microSDHC card along with the new Droid X for $99.99 or for $149.99 on purchasing it separately. In addition, current Verizon Wireless users with contracts ending by Dec. 31, 2010, can upgrade to Droid X without any penalty.

Motorola’s Droid X will be available online and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores tomorrow for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
