Golfers can now simply point their handset’s camera to scan real-time GPS distances to any target while on their course.

The app integrates iPhone 4’s latest motion sensing gyroscope and flawless 960 x 640 high-resolution Retina display for perfect viewing. Users can point the device’s camera towards the green, layup or hazard, and Golfscape then starts highlighting distances above the image of the hole.

“We wanted to provide iPhone users with the same eye-level view whether looking at their phone or at their course. With Golfscape we’re now able to provide real 3D views, with accurate distances, real hazards and unprecedented one of a kind reality imaging using the advanced technologies of iPhone 4,” stated Craig Prichard, President of Shotzoom Software.

Users can also enhance their shot selection as the app offers up to 40 targets per hole and GPS distances for over 35,000 courses worldwide. Apart from this, one can see wide spread views on the golf course. To broaden the horizon, the new app quite efficiently carries out the translation of twelve languages.
