DotEmu presents an exciting line-up of retro games for iOS users

These days, a lot of game publishers are boarding the retro bandwagon to entice modern day gaming enthusiasts. Another blast from the past, or should we say a few blasts from the past are about to hit the iTunes App Store. DotEmu has announced a special line-up of retro games for iOS users.

64th Street, the third title in the Jaleco Arcade series will be released on March 15 for iOS device users. Its plot revolves around the life of a detective, wherein players can assume the role of either the character dubbed Rick Anderson or Allen Tombs and attempt to rescue a young girl from her kidnappers.

Golvellius 2, The Valley of Doom title released on the Sega Master System will also be out on March 15 with a completely new interface. The players masquerade as brave knight Kelesis on a mission to destroy the evil king Golvellius and his army while unlocking 30 achievement levels.

Another game entitled Gobliins 2 and edited by BulkyPix is slated for a March 24 unveiling on the Apple iOS platform. While playing this title, gamers will have to enlist the help of two Gobliins named Winkle and Fingus and save the King’s son from various enemies.

P-47 The Phantom Fighter developed by Jaleco in 1988 and released on Atari ST, Amstrad, ZX Spectrum is up for an April 11 release. It offers players a chance to rediscover the amazing world of warplanes from World War II as they move through this shoot’em’up.

Lastly, Astyanax which is also known as The Lord of King and first edited on arcade in 1989 will be unfurled on April 25 for iOS users. The gameplay requires people to cross six different levels in order to free their world from the evil wizard Algos.
