Disney has come up with various interesting cartoons and definitely strives hard to roll out distinct animated characters that promise to allure many kids. Well, Akihabara has highlighted that the company will launch its new Android smartphone in Japan.
Allegedly, this offering from Disney is the same as Sharp Galapagos 003SH but under a different brand. This device will supposedly flaunt glasses-free 3D on the 3.8-inch display. Reportedly, owners which get their own Disney e-mail address, special content and the option to snap up six custom cases that bear a resemblance to Disney characters.
The handset may come along with a 1GHz processor, a 9.6 megapixel camera and, incredible features like 1Seg over-the-air TV tuning and FeliCa for wireless payments. The Android operating system is indeed picking up pace and this phone is expected to run on Android 2.2 with Adobe Flash 10.1 support.
The new Disney smartphone will apparently hit stores across Japan in February. However mobile buffs in the U.S. will have to wait in anticipation.
