Increasing the anticipation for the launch of the newest Microsoft OS, the Dell Latitude 10 release date is said to fall sometime close to the Windows 8 premiere. This tablet sports a generously sized touch panel and it is built within sleek dimensions to make it as portable as possible.
The Dell gadget’s front panel is equipped with a 10-inch IPS wide view angle LED screen proffering images in a resolution of 1366 × 768p. It is further accentuated with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection against slips and bumps. Additionally, the front surface offers the flexibility of employing capacitive 10-finger touch or a Wacom Active stylus for quick text input.
“Never before has the intersection between great design and data security and manageability been as important as employees increasingly ask for support for gorgeous products while IT needs to maintain corporate controls,” shared Sam Burd, global vice president, Personal Computing Product Group.

The Dell Latitude 10 Windows 8 slab is integrated with Intel’s next generation Atom SoC. It tags along eMMC memory of up to 128GB, while 2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz is also part of the show. The included processor teams up with Intel GMA to render quality graphics.
In terms of its business-ready features, the slate boasts of a fingerprint reader, a smart card reader, a lock slot and other security attributes. A front-mounted 720p webcam stays in place for video calls, while an 8MP snapper is affixed to the rear.
The Dell Latitude 10 price is expected to be disclosed closer to its shipping date.
